What does a window cleaner cost in 2026?

Outside window cleaning in 2026 costs on average € 15 to € 35 per visit for a regular home. That works out at € 3 to € 8 per window: a terraced house has around 10 to 14 outside windows.

For inside and outside expect € 35 to € 70 per visit — interior work is done by hand around furniture, plants and sills, so it takes more time. A one-off deep clean, for instance after a renovation or before a sale, runs € 45 to € 95: construction dust and paint or cement splashes require scrapers and extra time per window.

Five factors decide where you land in those ranges: the number of windows, glazing bars (many small panes = more work per window), working height (above the 2nd floor a longer pole or lift is needed), rear-access, and the region — Randstad rates run 10-20% higher. The biggest lever is frequency: on a fixed route (every 4 or 8 weeks) you pay the least per visit, because the cleaner spreads travel time across the whole street.
